The Planetarium is currently closed for renovations, and the flagship multidisciplinary Digital Dome Centenary project (
wits-astro.org/digital-dome) will commence. Part of this project will involve disassembling and storing the mechanical star projector until it finds a permanent home. Renovations will last until end November / December 2024.
